Azerbaijan registers cases of shelling in region bordering Armenia
Over the past 24 hours, the positions of the Azerbaijani army were shelled in four villages, reported the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for Azerbaijan.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 11-12, Azerbaijan claimed shelling of two villages in the conflict zone. In total, the Azerbaijani MoD registered 24 cases of shelling per day.
"Units of the Armenian armed forces used large-calibre machine guns and 28 times violated the ceasefire regime in different directions of the front within 24 hours," reports the website of the Azerbaijani MoD.
According to the Azerbaijani side, its positions in the villages of Agdam, Kokhanebi, Asrik Djyrdakhan, and Agbulag in the Tovuz District bordering Armenia came under the fire.
