Nalgievs' representatives treat story of meeting with Kadyrov as propaganda

The man named in the report of the Chechen television as a representative of the Ingush clan (teip) of Nalgievs was not authorized to go to Ramzan Kadyrov, said Ismail Nalgiev, an activist.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 2, the "Grozny" Chechen State TV and Radio Company (known as ChGTRK) showed a video about a visit of a member of the Nalgiev teip to Grozny to meet the head of the republic, Ramzan Kadyrov; however, the man was not named in the reports.

On October 19, the head of Chechnya came to meet the Ingush elder Mukhazhir Nalgiev, who had criticized Kadyrov at a rally in Magas. According to Kadyrov, he and Nalgiev apologized to each other for possible offenses. A video appeared in social networks, in which the Ingush activist Daut Yandiev apologized to Kadyrov for his speeches at the rally. The apologies of Ingush activists continued the practice of public repentances, residents of Chechnya suggested.

The man, who visited Grozny and was presented in the ChGTRK's report, is not a member of the Nalgiev teip, Ismail Nalgiev, the leader of the organization "Choice of Ingushetia", has confirmed.

"The Nalgiev teip has already held a gathering in connection with this matter, and will soon make a statement. Nobody sent this person there, and he had no right to speak on behalf of our teip," Ismail Nalgiev told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

According to Magomed Mutsolgov, the head of the Ingush human rights organization "Mashr" and a blogger on the "Caucasian Knot", the ChGTRK issue propaganda stories in an attempt to drive a wedge between Ingush communities that are unanimous about the border agreement.
