In December 2017, 15 people fell victim to armed conflict in Northern Caucasus
In December 2017, at least 15 people were killed in the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. No wounded were reported. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.
In Dagestan, during special operations to search for and detain members of illegal armed formations (IAFs), five suspected members of the IAFs were killed during armed clashes. No victims were registered among law enforcers or civilians.
In Karachay-Cherkessia, in the course of a special operation, five suspected members of the armed underground were killed. No information about victims among law enforcers and civilians was reported.
In December 2017, in the Stavropol Territory, as a result of special operations to detain members of the IAFs, four suspected IAF members were killed.
In Kabardino-Balkaria, a suspected IAF member was killed when law enforcers tried to detain him.
In December 2017, in Ingushetia, North Ossetia-Alania, and Chechnya, no victims to the armed conflict were registered.
