A soldier dies in Nagorno-Karabakh
Soldier Gevorg Aronyan got a fatal wound at a military unit, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for Nagorno-Karabakh reported.
"On October 1, ... at a military unit located in the south-east direction, soldier Gevorg Aronyan, born in 1997, got a severe gunshot wound under unclear circumstances," the MoD for Nagorno-Karabakh reported.
The soldier was taken to the hospital and later died.
According to the Caspian Defence Studies Institute (CDSI), in the period from January to June 2018, the number of non-combat losses in Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh reached 19.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported about the death of Agasi Mkrtchyan, a soldier of the armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh. His body with a gunshot wound was found on September 26. Nagorno-Karabakh accused Azerbaijan of the death of the soldier and claimed that he had been killed during shelling.
