Ingush Government releases a map of new border

The agreement on the establishment of a new Ingush-Chechen border accompanied of a map thereof has been posted on the website of the Government of Ingushetia.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 26, Ramzan Kadyrov and Yunus-Bek Evkurov signed an agreement on fixing the Chechen-Ingush border. The signing of the agreement took place against the background of protests held by residents of Ingushetia in the cities of Sunzha and Magas.

The document, posted today on the website of the Government of Ingushetia, contains the text of the agreement and its annexes, including "A cartographic image of the border between the Republic of Ingushetia and the Chechen Republic". The red line of the new border is depicted on the physical map.

The second annex to the agreement is a geodetic (coordinate) description of the border with numbers of landmarks and their coordinates.

Copies of the document were submitted to the parliaments of Ingushetia and Chechnya for the preparation of respective draft laws approving the agreement.
