Soldier shot dead in Nagorno-Karabakh

Gamlet Grigoryan, a soldier of the Defence Army of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), received a mortal gunshot wound under unclear circumstances, the NKR's Ministry of Defence (MoD) has reported today.

"On May 20, around 11:00 a.m. local time, on the defensive point of one of the military units, located in the eastern direction, under yet unclear circumstances, Gamlet Narajrovich Grigoryan, born in 1999, a serviceman of the Defence Army, received a mortal gunshot wound," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told at the press service of the NKR's MoD.

According to the MoD, "an inquiry is underway to find out the details of the incident."

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported earlier that today Azerbaijan announced the death of its serviceman, accusing of it the Armenian party.
