Father of murdered shepherd brothers warns Dagestani authorities about a series of pickets

At the action in Makhachkala held on March 1, the father of Gasanguseinov brothers, who were shot dead in the Dagestan village of Goor-Khindakh, promised to go to the square every day until the day of the presidential election trying to achieve justice.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the brothers Nabi and Gasangusein Gasanguseinov were killed on August 24, 2016. Law enforcers declared them to be militants, who opened automatic fire at policemen. The casualties' fellow villagers demanded to punish those responsible for their murder, asserting that the brothers were shepherds and had no relation to the militants. On November 27, 2017, it became known that the case about the attempt of the Gasanguseinov brothers had been stopped, and a case on their murder was initiated.

Djambulat Gasanov, an activist of the public organization "Right and Law", said at the above action in Makhachkala that the inquiry into the brothers' murder has no progressing.

The father, Murtazali Gasanguseinov, said that he would hold pickets in Makhachkala every day, including the day of the Russian presidential election on March 18. He hopes to force the authorities of Dagestan to pay attention to the case, and law enforcers – to find the perpetrators of the murder of his sons, the "Chernovik" (Draft) weekly reported on March 1.
