Said Amirov feels bad at trial

Today, the court hearing to consider the issue on release of Said Amirov has been interrupted several times because of the defendant's poor health state. Court hearings will be continued on December 14, the Sol-Iletsk District Court reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the Said Amirov's defence justified its motion for the release of the former official by the fact that he became a wheelchair user after an assassination attempt on him in 1993. Besides, the defence has also noted that the conditions of detention in the penal colony are not suitable for a paralyzed person.

The today's court hearing lasted about four hours. Said Amirov himself took part in the hearing via video conference.

Vladimir Postanyuk, an advocate of Said Amirov, has said that "today, the judge had a chance to see that the Said Amirov's health state is extremely difficult." "That was evident at the court hearing. Said Amirov several times asked to make a break, since he felt bad," Vladimir Postanyuk told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

Let us remind you that on August 27, 2015, the court sentenced Amirov to life imprisonment for organizing murders, banditry and terrorism.
