Armenian side returns soldier's body to Azerbaijan

A body of an Azerbaijani soldier found dead on the border with Armenia has been transferred to Azerbaijan with the mediation of agents from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 23, the Armenian Ministry of Defence (MoD) reported on the discovery of an Azerbaijani soldier's body in the south-eastern direction of the border. According to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence, 18-year-old Bakhruz Djalilbeili "wilfully left the place of service after having committed a war crime."

On November 28, the body was transferred in the Sadarak District of the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border.
