Makhachkala: acquittal of Mayor’s son appealed against

The Prosecutor's Office of the Sovietsky District of Makhachkala has appealed against the acquittal of Badrudin Musaev, accused of insulting Dagestani policemen and traumatizing one of them.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 11, the defendant declared his innocence. On September 12, it became known that Musaev was acquitted. The above Prosecutor's Office did not agree with the acquittal of the son of Makhachkala Mayor.

The road conflict involving Musaev, a son of the Mayor of Makhachkala, occurred on May 31, 2016. Musaev was accused of insulting using violence against a law enforcer. On March 10, the victims stated in the court that Musaev had publicly insulted the officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), provoked a brawl, and injured one of them. The prosecutor demanded five years of imprisonment for Musaev.
