Volgograd: observers fix ballot throw-in

Observers from the PARNAS and “Yabloko” Parties and the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) have fixed a ballot throw-in at polling station No. 438, located in the Volgograd Youth Centre, Roman Zaitsev, the lawyer of the Volgograd Navalny’s office, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today residents of Russia voted for Deputies of Regional Legislative Assemblies.

"We’ll lodge an application to this end to law enforcement bodies," said the lawyer.

Alexander Silaev, an observer from the “Yabloko” Party, has confirmed to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that observers from the above three political parties became eyewitnesses of the throw-in.

"An employee of this youth centre... has thrown ballots into the box. Observers from the PARNAS and CPRF also saw it. I can’t say how many ballots there were. He took them from a commission member... and threw them in. Observers came up to him and said that they saw the throw-in, to which he replied that he didn’t do it... Now, we write an application to the police," said Alexander Silaev.
