Soldier of Nagorno-Karabakh Army dies

A soldier of the Defence Army, Narek Gasparyan, has perished today as a result of shelling by Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) reports.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 16 it became known about the death of an Azerbaijani soldier, according to the MoD of the country, "at suppressing the provocation of the Armenian Armed Forces." On the same day, the NKR announced the death of three soldiers during the shelling by Azerbaijan.

According to the NKR's MoD, today a twenty-year-old soldier, Narek Gasparyan, received a deadly gunshot wound.

In its turn, Azerbaijan has accused Armenia of 126 bombardments of its positions within the last 24 hours.
