In Ingushetia, number of truck drivers on protest increases
On April 21, the number of drivers of heavy vehicles on protest against the "Platon" system in the vicinity of the Ingush town of Karabulak reached 50. This was reported by a participant of the protest action.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the all-Russian protest action of truck drivers was actively supported by carriers of the south of Russia. In Ingushetia, the main place for gathering of protesters was the entrance to the town of Karabulak.
As at 8:00 p.m. Moscow time of April 21, according to one of the participants of the protest, up to 30 trucks stayed at the protest camp.
Participants in the protest action are ready to continue their action until the authorities listen to their demands. This was noted by truck driver Sulimbek.
The protester has noted that he is the only breadwinner of his family consisting of seven persons, who because of the protest action found themselves in a difficult financial situation.
