Soldier killed in Nagorno-Karabakh

Today, Gor Ovannisyan, a contract soldier, was mortally wounded by a shot from the Azerbaijani side, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) has stated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today the NKR counted 60 bombardments within the last 24 hours from Azerbaijan. In its turn, Azerbaijan accused Armenia of 128 bombardments per day.

According to the NKR’s MoD, the tragic incident occurred today on the defensive section of the contact line in the eastern direction at about 2:45 p.m. local time.

"As a result of the shot from the Azerbaijani side, Gor Gevorgovich Ovannisyan, born in 1993, a contract soldier of the NKR’s Defence Army, received a mortal gunshot wound," a source from the NKR’s MoD told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
