"Georgian Dream" Party gets constitutional majority in Parliament
According to the preliminary information of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Georgia, the ruling "Georgian Dream" Party won in 48 single-seat electoral districts at the second round of parliamentary elections.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in Georgia, 50 electoral districts held the second round of the parliamentary elections from single-seat electoral districts.
According to the preliminary information of the Georgian CEC, candidates of the "Georgian Dream" Party won in 48 electoral districts, the "Interfax" reports.
The "Georgian Dream" Party will get 115 out of 150 seats in the new parliament, and that is two seats more than it is required for constitutional majority, the "Kommersant" reports.
