Chechen leader sets up post of Vice-Premier for cooperation with law enforcers

Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has introduced in the republic a position of the Vice Prime Minister for cooperation with the security agencies, law enforcement agencies and local authorities. Till present, no official has been appointed for the position.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 6, Ramzan Kadyrov, the leader of Chechnya, re-elected for a third term, dismissed the former government.

According to the leader of the ChechenRepublic, the procedure for formation of the government of Chechnya is almost completed. Ramzan Kadyrov has also noted that all current members of the government retained their positions.

"At the introduction of Prime Minister Abubakar Edelgeriev, announced by Ibragim Zakriev, First Vice Prime Minister, I have introduced a new post of the Vice Prime Minister. He will focus on cooperation with the security agencies, law enforcement agencies and local authorities. I have removed powers of Vice Prime Minister from the Minister of Economic Development and Trade," reported Ramzan Kadyrov in his statement published today on Instagram.
