Residents of Chechnya report on ban on tezet for attackers killed in Moscow Region
In Chechnya, family members of Usman Murdalov and Sulim Israilov, killed in the Moscow Region, are not allowed to hold the ritual of their commemoration (tezet). This was reported by local residents. According to them, the family members of the killed men are interrogated by law enforcers.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 17, two young men with axes attacked inspectors of the road-and-patrol service (known as DPS) in the Moscow Region. As a result, two policemen were injured. Usman Murdalov and Sulim Israilov have assured their family members that they were going to the Russian capital in search for work, the Chechen Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) reports.
After the attack at the DPS checkpoint, the "Islamic State", banned in Russia, has announced that the attackers were its supporters. That was the first statement of the terrorist organization of its involvement in the attacks outside Northern Caucasus.
An official from the Chechen MIA has mentioned that "according to the federal law, the bodies of killed terrorists are not given out to their relatives."
