Vardges Gaspari brought to police station

Today, Vardges Gaspari, a Yerevan activist, has claimed being brought to the police station. According to him, the policemen refused to explain the reasons for their actions.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Vardges Gaspari is well-known for the form of his protest actions, during which he lays down on the ground and does not move. In March, the activist was fined on the charges of insulting a policeman and a judge. The activist was also accused of obstructing the work of the election commission during the constitutional referendum, where Vardges Gaspari was an observer from the anti-corruption centre of "Transparency International"; however, the case was closed.

Today, Vardges Gaspari has left a message on his Facebook page that some people scattered garbage at his doorstep. The activist has also added that he is going to hold an action in front of the mansion of President Serzh Sargsyan.

At about 10:30 a.m. Moscow time, Vardges Gaspari reported that he had been brought to the police station. The policemen have failed to explain the reasons for his detention, said Vardges Gaspari as quoted by the "Gaspari News.am".
