Makhachkala: video from place of attack on Shamkhalaev appeared on Internet

A record from a surveillance camera from the scene of the attack on Shakhbulat Shamkhalaev, a well-known fighter of mixed martial arts (MMA), in Makhachkala has got into the Internet. The athlete was hit by six bullets.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 1 Shamkhalaev was taken to hospital with gunshot wounds. Doctors extracted six bullets from his body, the "Life" reports.

The incident occurred in the "Petrovsk" Restaurant in Makhachkala in Batyrai Street, said a republic's law enforcement source.

According to his version, Shamkhalaev had a conflict with unidentified persons, one of whom opened fire, the "Chernovik" weekly writes.

Doctors assess the health condition of the patient as grave, the "Interfax-South" reports.

The video record shows that an armed man, dressed in a jacket with a hood, comes into the hall and goes into its centre. Then, a man stands up from one of the tables. Making a few steps, he pulled out a pistol and shot at somebody who was behind the column.
