Two armies clash on Armenian-Azerbaijan border
Azerbaijan forces made an attempt to occupy a more advantageous position on the border with Armenia on the night of June 7-8. Armenian forces stationed near the village of Berkaber in the Tavushskaya region tried to stop the advance of the Azerbaijan side to the pumping station situated near the village, reported Colonel Seiran Shakhsuvarian, press secretary of the Armenian defense minister.
The Azerbaijan side opened fire, which resulted in a skirmish with the use of automatic weapons. The Azerbaijan forces also opened fire on the village of Berkaber. The Armenian side took no losses.
