"NordStar" airlines cancel flights to Nalchik

No flights from Moscow to Nalchik and back will take place, and the money for the tickets purchased is to be returned to passengers in full. This was reported by a staff member of the "NordStar" airlines.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in November, the "NordStar" airlines announced the launch of regular flights from Nalchik to Moscow. The ticket price was to start from 5500 roubles. However, today, an official of the Nalchik airport has reported that the "NordStar" airlines postponed the launch of flights for an indefinite period.

According to the staff member of the "NordStar" airlines, flights to Nalchik "were cancelled on the initiative of the customer." "During three months, from May to August, we regularly performed weekly flights Nalchik-Istanbul-Antalya under the contract with the travel agency 'Rainbow'. We fulfilled our obligations," stated the staff member of the "NordStar" airlines.

"At the same time, we received a proposal to organize flights from Nalchik to Moscow. In October, we started selling tickets; however, a week ago, the customer suddenly refused to pay for flights," the staff member of the "NordStar" airlines has added.

According to the "Yandex-Timetable", flights of the "NordStar" airlines (Y7 1052 Nalchik-Moscow and Y7 1052 Nalchik-Moscow) were to be performed from November 18, 2015, till March 23, 2016. As of November 18, only one airline the "UTAir" performs flights from Nalchik to Moscow and back.
