In Stepanakert, people light candles in memory of victims of terror acts in Paris

On November 15, in the French square of Stepanakert, people lit candles in memory of the victims of the terror acts in Paris. According to the organizers, the ceremony was attended by about 500 people.

On November 13, Paris suffered from a series of terror acts. According to the updated information, the terror acts were committed by eight terrorists, seven of whom blew themselves up with the use of belts packed with explosives. One more terrorist was killed by policemen. 129 people fell victims to the terror acts.

The memory action was organized by students of the Artsakh State University at the sculpture "Eternity", created by French painter Toros. Public figures and city residents also came to pay tribute to the memory of the victims.

Ashot Gulyan, Speaker of the National Assembly of Nagorno-Karabakh, Chairman of the Circle of Friendship "France-Artsakh", has sent the condolences to Francois Rochebloine, a French MP, the leader of the Circle of Friendship "France-Artsakh".

On November 14, Bako Saakyan, President of Nagorno-Karabakh, sent a telegram of condolences to French President Francois Hollande. This was reported by the press service of the President of Nagorno-Karabakh.

On behalf of the people and the authorities of Nagorno-Karabakh, the leader of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic has expressed the condolences "to the families of the innocent victims and all the people of France."

Bako Saakyan has cancelled all entertainment events scheduled for the day of November 15 within the "Days of Artsakh in Moscow", the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Nagorno-Karabakh reports.
