Kadyrov reorganizes Chechen government
President of Chechnya Akhmat Kadyrov signed a decree on April 29 pursuant to which the posts of all 7 vice prime ministers of the Chechen government would be abolished. The dismissed vice prime ministers will be given an opportunity to continue their work in another capacity. "President Akhmat Kadyrov has explained the reorganization by saying the structure that existed before duplicated actions of the republican ministries in fact, which created additional problems for the solution of most questions. Now the head of the Cabinet can work directly with ministers, which is to increase the efficiency of the Cabinet's work considerably," an official of the Chechen president's staff said to the Caucasian Knot correspondent.
