Security service officers in Chechnya receive order to destroy all terrorist suspects
Military units subordinated to Chechen President Akhmad Kadyrov rushed into the house of the Temiramiyev family in the village of Sogutni, Chechnya's Nozhay-Yurt district, on April 16. They turned the people out and burned the house to ashes. They savagely beat a woman in the presence of fellow-villagers demanding that she tell them the whereabouts of her husband, Mukharbi Temiramiyev.
Eye-witnesses believe the incident happened as a reaction to the murder of Nozhay-Yurt district police chief Aslambek Ilyasov. But officers of Kadyrov's security service said they acted in conformity with the order received from Moscow according to which they must destroy all terrorist suspects.
