FSB: 25 Ukrainian citizens detained on suspicion of preparing terror acts in Volgograd and Rostov Regions
25 Ukrainian citizens have been detained in Russia on suspicion of preparing terror acts in the territory of seven Russian Regions, including the Volgograd and Rostov Regions, the Federal Security Bureau (FSB) of Russia has announced today.
According to the FSB, the terror acts had been planned on March 14-16 this year – before the referendum on Crimea's accession to Russia.
"After information was received about the intention of activists of the so-called 'Right-Wing Sector' of the Kiev 'Maidan' to commit subversive and terror acts in the territory of seven regions of Russia (Rostov, Volgograd, Tver, Oryol and Belgorod Regions, and Kalmykia and Tatarstan) 25 citizens of Ukraine have been identified and detained," the RIA "Novosti" quotes the today's message of the FSB's PR Centre.
Two Ukrainians, detained for preparation of terror acts in several Russian regions have been already deported to their homeland, the NTV reports.
