Two persons killed in special operation in Ingushetia
Law enforcers killed two suspected members of the armed underground in the village of Plievo, Nazran District of Ingushetia, where on Saturday morning the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime was introduced, said a source from the local law enforcement bodies.
According to power agents, those killed were Bashir Dishaev and Muslim Kuriev, who lived in the same street. Both were suspected by the police of involvement in illegal armed formations (IAFs).
Dishaev and Kuriev were killed at a detention attempt, said the source. According to power agents, Dishaev blew himself up by an improvised explosive device (IED), while Kuriev tried to render armed resistance, the "Interfax" reports.
The ITAR-TASS adds, with reference to a law enforcement official, that another IED was found in Dishaev's household.
