Air strike kills six civilians in Chechnya
Air strikes killed six people - a woman and five children - in Chechnya on April 9, the Human Rights Center Memorial reported on April 13. "According to our information, the incident took place in the mountain village of Rigakhoy, Chechnya's Vedeno district, at about 14:00 Moscow time on April 9. The bombing lasted for about 20 minutes," said Eliza Musayeva, head of Memorial's office in Nazran, Ingushetia. "One woman, Marit Tsintsayeva, and five children were killed as a result. The eldest of the children was 7. When the bombing started, the woman gathered the children around her, but a bomb hit her house," she said.
