Servicemen hit explosive device in Chechnya, one injured
A group of servicemen of Russia's Defense Ministry was blown up on an explosive device in the Itum-Kali district of Chechnya, with one man injured, RIA Novosti was told on Wednesday, April 14, in the headquarters of the joint group of forces in the North Caucasus.
According to the headquarters, the unidentified explosive device was detonated the day before in a forest on the outskirts of the Dzumsoy village during engineer reconnaissance.
The explosion left Lieutenant Klimenkov, the platoon commander, injured. He was hospitalized.
