Chechen TV cameraman released
Masud Magomadov, who was abducted from his flat in Grozny, has returned home. He is a cameraman for Chechen State TV and Radio Company and student at the Department of Journalism of the Chechen State University. The Caucasian Knot correspondent learnt from Magomadov's relative that the abductors had thrown Masud out on the outskirts of the village of Chechen-Aul in the Grozny district. "The bandits held him under the hatches for the whole day torturing and humiliating him. He doesn't know where the abductors kept him and what they wanted from him. Then the criminals drove him to the region of the Chechen-Aul village, which is several tens of kilometers far from Grozny, and threw him out of the car without stopping. He went on foot to his flat in Grozny. There are many signs of cruel beating on his body, and he feels very bad," the man said.
