Danish Refugee Council liquidated in Stavropol
On April 9, the Stavropol Regional Court made a decision to liquidate the humanitarian aid agency Danish Refugee Council.
Pursuant to this court ruling, the organization must stop its activity in Russia, liquidate its office in Stavropol, and close branch offices in Moscow and Nazran.
The liquidation of the organization was initiated by the Department of the Russian Ministry of Justice in Stavropol Territory. The official statement by the Ministry of Justice reads, in particular, that "the Council's direction did not notify the Ministry of changes in the governing body of the organization and changes in its legal address in defiance of the Russian legislation."
