In Makhachkala, 500 persons take part in action "Bloggers against Garbage", organizers report
Today, residents of districts and cities of Dagestan took part in the all-Russian action "Bloggers against Garbage". According to the organizers' information, in Makhachkala, the rally was supported by 500 persons, and all over the country, it was supported by more than 10,000 persons.
"The action was supported not only by bloggers. Students, activists, and ordinary citizens, who learned about the event, take active part in it. For example, residents of Makhachkala with all their family members came to clear territories. The action was also supported by the Ministry of Natural Resources of Dagestan. Officials also actively attracted people to participate in the event," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Mukhtar Amirov, an organizer of the action in Dagestan.
In Makhachkala, the participants of the action cleaning from the territory adjacent to the Ak-Gel Lake and continued it in the city recreation-and-entertainment park, at the city beach, and in the territories adjacent to the suburban markets.
"In Dagestan, such actions with participation of young people were held earlier. And they will be held in the future, since we understand the importance of the state of ecology for all of us," Mukhtar Amirov has emphasized.
Activists from Vladikavkaz also joined the all-Russian campaign.
