Karabakh parliament confirms adherence to idea of independence
A special session of the Presidium of the National Assembly of Nagorny Karabakh was held on February 20. It was devoted to the Day of Artsakh's Revival. On this day in 1989, the regional Soviet of People's Deputies made a decision on the reunification with Armenia. In commemoration of the 16th anniversary of this decision, the Assembly of the Republic of Nagorny Karabakh confirmed its resoluteness in building the independent state and expressed the adherence of Nagorny Karabakh to the peace resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict under the aegis of the OSCE Minsk Group.
