Ilkham Aliyev accuses Yerevan of telling lie
Azerbaijan President Ilkham Aliyev has denied the existence of the agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia concerning the resolution of the Karabakh conflict that was reached in Paris and Key West in the spring of 2001. (Editor's note: The Armenian leadership has mentioned this agreement recently.) At a press conference devoted to the results of his official visit to Uzbekistan, Aliyev said "there have never been any agreements, it was all made up by the Armenian side."
"The world community requires transparency in deciding all important questions. Today it is not even possible to hide secret agreements. I spoke with co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk group and asked them to tell the Armenian side to stop lying. It is not appropriate for a country holding negotiations," Ilkham Aliyev said.
