Both soldiers and civilians keep dying in Chechnya
Two Russian soldiers were killed and five others injured when a radio-controlled mine exploded in the village of Tsa-Vedeno in the Vedeno district.
A source at the Interior Ministry of the Chechen Republic said the mine was planted on a village road and went off when the vehicle was passing the place.
All the dead and injured were members of a special elite unit of the Russian marine troops.
Meanwhile, as reported by a police officer, a 16-year-old schoolboy was killed and three others injured in Urus-Martan by an artillery shell launched by the Russian military. Evidently it appears that this incident was caused by Russian soldiers carelessly handling their weapons.
