Association "Golos" publishes results of March 14 election monitoring in Stavropol
The Stavropol representative office of the Association of Non-profit Organizations in Defense of Voters' Rights "Golos" published results of its March 14 election monitoring in Stavropol. Activists of this organization monitored the voting and the counting of ballots at 30 election commissions. They revealed the following breaches of the legislation currently in force.
There was no enlarged form of transactions at some polling stations. The Association's team was not allowed in one of the polling stations, which attracted attention by servicemen's mass voting. Police officers were posted at the entrance, who threatened to launch criminal investigation. There were problems with the stitching and attestation of voter lists at some polling stations. The lists were often stitched but not attested with the precinct election commission's seal.
Activists of the Association also have doubts that some precinct commissions accurately followed the procedure of the counting of ballots and their transmission to the territorial election commission as these ballots started coming in only in thirty minutes after the polling stations had been closed. The Association's representatives also noted the fact that the lists of voters at each station in Stavropol had been reduced by 50-100 people towards the March 14 election, i.e. for 4.7% on average.
