Reinstatement of refugees in Ingush migration service's lists started in Satsita camp
The process of reinstatement of people in the lists of the Ingush migration service began in the Satsita tent camp, which is on the outskirts of the Ordzhonikidzevskaya village, Ingushetia's Sunzhensky district.
Dozens of displaced persons have been taken off the books by the migration service earlier without any grounds for it, which has automatically deprived them of the right to receive humanitarian aid and produced a number of other problems. On January 21, the first case was registered in the Satsita camp when a refugee illegally taken off the books was reinstated in the Ingush migration service's lists.
Displaced people consider this to be the first positive step taken by the authorities recently in order to solve their problems. At the same time, tent camp residents note that for some reason, first people to be reinstated in the migration service's lists are those who assented to voluntarily go back to Chechnya.
