Case concerning book "Blowing Up Russia: Terror from Within" conducted by FSB
The criminal case, which saw the book "Blowing Up Russia: Terror from Within" (in Russian titled simply "FSB Blows Up Russia") withdrawn from circulation, is being conducted by the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB).
The books by the authors Alexander Litvinenko and Yuri Felshtinsky that were intended for PRIMA News Agency were being transported in a car traveling from Pskov, and were seized on 29 December, as the vehicle was entering Moscow. It was specified in the search warrant that the purpose was to withdraw from circulation two books, both by Litvinenko: "FSB Blows Up Russia" and "LCG - Lubyanka Criminal Group". However, only copies of the former, 4,376 in total, were removed. All the seized copies are under seal of the FSB Administration of Internal Security.
The search report mentions neither criminal case the search was related to nor facts by which and persons against whom this criminal case had been instituted.
