A teacher of a madrasah and his pupils kidnapped in Chechnya
Armed and masked people wearing camouflage uniforms in Chechnya kidnapped and carried away in an unknown direction a teacher of a men’s madrasah of Gudermes and three of his pupils, “Memorial” Human Rights Center reports.
On August, 11, at 4:00, three silvery “Lada Priora” cars with armed people drove up to the Magomadovs’ house in Griboedov street of Gudermes. The unknown people burst into the courtyard, turned the thirty-years-old teacher Roman Magomadov who made a hajj to Mecca two years ago out of the house threatening his relatives with guns and carried him away. The relatives of the kidnapped man appealed to Head of regional Administration but he said that he could not be of any help, the human rights activists reported.
On the same day and in the same manner Magomadov’s pupils, a twenty-five-years-old Rustam Seliev, a twenty-four-years-old Viskhan Geliskhanov and Ruslan Sakkazov, were carried away from their houses. There is an information that the abductors also came in “Lada Priora” cars without licence plates, were also wearing camouflage uniforms and masked, some of them had black berets on. As of August, 16, location of the kidnapped people has not been established.
