Anti-terrorism picket held in Vladikavkaz
Today, about 250 persons gathered in Freedom Square of the capital of North Ossetia to hold a non-sanctioned picket against terrorism. The rally demanded from local authorities to ensure their safety and stop terror acts in the republic.
People stood in a circle, and speakers went inside to present. Every presentation dealt with the idea that life in the republic should be safe and terror-free.
"If they don't take lessons from previous explosions, they will continue," said Aneta Gadieva, a member of the Committee "Beslan Mothers", who lost her only child in the 2004 terror act.
According to Marina Pak, another mother who lost her child in Beslan, when an explosion was triggered at the central marketplace in Vladikavkaz, the children whom she was giving a lesson of housekeeping at that moment burst into tears: they were afraid that terrorists would again come to them, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
