MoD of Nagorno-Karabakh refutes losses in the fight with Azerbaijani militaries

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Nagorno-Karabakh asserts that the losses of Azerbaijan during the combat clash on August 31 made at least seven killed and wounded persons. The Armenian party, as the department reports, had no losses; one soldier was wounded.

Earlier, the MoD of Azerbaijan had reported that Azerbaijani armed forces were shelled from the positions of the Karabakh Army near the villages of Chaily and Gyzyl of the Terter District. According to the Azerbaijani party, as a result of yesterday's fight three Armenian soldiers were killed and several more wounded; and two Azerbaijani soldiers were lost.

"The losses of Azerbaijan in the course of the yesterday's diversion action of Azerbaijani special troops in the north of Karabakh made seven killed and wounded persons," said Senor Asratyan, press secretary of the Nagorno-Karabakh's MoD.

He treated as disinformation the publications in the Azerbaijani mass media that the Karabakh party allegedly had losses. "We have only one wounded soldier," he said.
