Azerbaijan forbids foreign observers at Nagorno-Karabakh elections to enter the country

From now on, the five Deputies of the Russian State Duma and the citizens of France, Germany, Slovakia and Argentina, who took part in observing the May 23 parliamentary elections in Nagorno-Karabakh, are under the entrance ban to Azerbaijan.

In particular, the "black list" of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan now includes Russian MPs Igor Chernyshenko, Kirill Cherkasov, Tatiana Volozhinskaya, Maxim Mischenko and Konstantin Zatulin, the ARA Agency reports.

Besides, the entrance is also forbidden for a number of public and political figures - both from the CIS and other foreign countries. The list is far from completion.

Konstantin Zatulin, first deputy chair of State Duma's committee on CIS matters, a member of the "black list", believes that the official Baku is losing patience, and, having failed within 15 to find mutual understanding on Karabakh with Armenia, is now looking for scapegoats among Russian MPs.

As reported by the GZT.RU Agency, in total, the elections in the non-recognized were supervised by more than 110 international observers from 12 countries of the world, including Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Transdniestria.
