Protest action against resolution on Armenians' genocide held at the US embassy in Baku
On Monday, March 8, in Baku, a protest action was held in front of the US embassy in the context of the approval on March 4 by the Committee on Foreign Relations of the House of Representatives of the US Congress of draft resolution on Armenians' genocide.
The action started at about 1:00 p.m. Baku time and lasted for an hour. In the course of the action a group of students and young people shouted slogans calling the USA to pursue objective policy in relation to Azerbaijan and Turkey. The protesters held flags of Azerbaijan and Turkey and photos of the genocide committed in Khodzhaly. The crowd called the USA to recognize the massacre of Azerbaijanis committed by Armenians also to be genocide.
Terry Davidson, an employee of the US embassy to Azerbaijan, went out to the protesters and listened to them. The action passed without incidents, the "1news.az" writes.
