Psychiatric examination appointed to Dymovskiy
Alexei Dymovskiy, a former employee of the UVD (Interior Department) of Novorossisk, now kept in SIZO (pre-trial detention facility) accused of a swindle, will take a complex mental examination.
As reported by the press service of the Investigatory Department for the Krasnodar Territory of the ICPO (Investigatory Committee at the Prosecutor's Office), the examination will be held at the SIZO, the "Interfax" writes.
According to advocates of the former major, the grounds for the examination are in inspectors' doubts of Dymovskiy's adequacy, since he had repeatedly declared his religious beliefs and asked his inspector to replace his freedom restriction form for any other, as he wanted to visit some sacred places, the IA "New Region" reports.
The advocates were surprised that the inspector failed to ask the main question in such cases: "Does he suffer or has he suffered from any mental disease?" In their opinion, "other questions were formulated so that an obviously sick person is presented for examination."
Now, that the examination is appointed, the disfavoured major will be placed into a special unit, where he will be examined for rather long (at least for a month) by psychiatrists and psychologists. For this period, most probably, Dymovskiy's contacts with visitors and reception of parcels will be restricted.
