Kokoity displeased with discipline in South-Ossetian power agencies
President of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity has held a meeting with bosses of local power agencies. The main topic was service discipline in subdivisions and counteraction to illegal drugs circulation.
Mr Kokoity has expressed his dissatisfaction with the discipline in power units and stressed the need of tougher work with the personnel to this end.
"The persons dismissed from any power unit should not be employed anywhere else in power of defence departments. Nobody cancelled this order; however, I know cases when repeatedly sacked agents appear again in your subdivisions, thus, discrediting our law enforcement bodies," he said addressing his power officials.
Eduard Kokoity has also expressed his concern of illegal drugs circulation in the republic. "In spite of efficient measures taken in 2001-2003 against drug dealing and addiction, we see a recent growth of the number of young drug users. I'd like to draw your attention in this respect to poor work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of South Ossetia," he said.
