Badalov is shocked with Khidriev's confession of preparing "Neva-Express" explosion
Ruslan Badalov, Chairman of the Russian Public Movement "Chechen Committee of National Salvation", was shocked by the statement of Maksharip Khidriev, a resident of Ingushetia, who pled guilty of preparing the first terror act against the "Neva-Express" train. In the opinion of human rights activist, there are eyewitnesses who evidence Khidriev's alibi.
Let us remind you that the Novgorod Regional Court is considering a case about the previous attack on the "Neva-Express" train undertaken in March 2007. Maksharip Khidriev pled guilty of preparing the terror act and confirmed his earlier statement that he had defamed the other defendant - Salambek Dzakhkiev, whose alibi was confirmed by Dmitri Ulanov, a resident of Samara.
In his conversation with the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent Mr Badalov said that human rights defenders had started their investigation from the first hours after the explosion. "Everything we found proved that Khidriev had worked as shovel operator near his house; his neighbours and militiamen saw it," he said. He is sure that it was easy to force Khidriev to confess at the trial, because he had a conditional conviction.
Speaking about the new explosion of the "Neva-Express" train - on November 27 - Badalov could not move any particular version. He did not exclude that this new accident is somehow linked with the one of 2007.
