Investigatory Committee of Dagestan takes more time for considering "execution list"

The Investigatory Department of the Investigatory Committee of Russia for Dagestan has found it necessary to hold an additional check of the data specified in the leaflets, which were disseminated in early September in Makhachkala. This was stated on Tuesday, October 6 by a source in the Republic's Investigatory Department.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in early September leaflets were spread in Makhachkala with threats and promises of some anonymous authors to "liquidate bandits" and take vengeance for perished militiamen and peaceful citizens. The "black list" included well-known people of Dagestan: advocates, journalists and human rights activists. According to some sources, the "death squadrons", who kill militants and their helpers without any trial, are backed by local operative workers.

As reported by the Department, the check was prolonged till October 23, as the "Gazeta.Ru" reports.
