Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation: Grozny suicide bomber identified

The terrorist-suicide bomber who committed the terror act on September 12 at the school building near the Bilimkhanov Stadium in Grozny has been identified. He was Aslanbek Dzhabrailov, born in 1986, a native of Elistanzhi village, Vedeno District of Chechnya. This was reported by Vladimir Markin, spokesman of the Investigatory Committee at the Prosecutor's Office (ICPO) of the Russian Federation.

Earlier, a source from local law enforcement bodies told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that, most likely, the bomber had been a member of the grouping under field commander Muslim Gakaev, a native of the same Elistanzhi village.

The Russian News Service also confirms, with reference to Alexei Makarkin, deputy director of the Centre of Political Technologies, that Dzhabrailov had been with Gakaev as one of his militants since 2006.
