Novorossisk: opponents of "children's curfew" are sued
Vadim Karastelyov, expert of the Novorossisk Committee for Human Rights, one of the organizers of pickets for cancellation of the curfew for children, has received a copy of the claim on defence of honour, dignity, business reputation and compensation lodged against him by Sergey Novikov, director of the Municipal Unitary Enterprise "Information-Analytical Centre", who is known to human rights activists as the author of numerous articles negative treating their activities.
"In particular, Novikov disliked the material of the "Caucasian Knot" on the 'information war' against the supporters of cancellation of the children's curfew introduced in Novorossisk. The point is that earlier negative materials had been published about us, where the other party wasn't presented, and it can be regarded as information war. Moreover, the materials were published in the only city newspaper; there're just no other papers at all," said Vadim Karastelyov.
Let us remind you that earlier the "Caucasian Knot" had reported that a discrediting campaign against opponents of the "children's curfew law", introduced in Novorossisk, in which local media and Internet portals are used has begun. This was reported by Tamara Karastelyova, director of the Novorossisk Committee for Human Rights (NCHR).
