MIA of Chechnya: terror act against Kadyrov prevented

In Grozny, as reported by Ruslan Alkhanov, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Chechen Republic, a militant was killed, who had prepared terror acts against the Republic's leadership, including President of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov. Also, a woman-militant was wounded and detained; a militiaman was wounded in a special operation.

According to Mr Alkhanov, today, at 5:20 p.m., in Staraya Sunzha village, Leninskiy District of Grozny, in one of the houses, at an attempt of detention, Said-Selim Abdulkadyrov, an active participant of illegal armed formations, who was in the federal search, was killed, as the ITAR-TASS reports.

Said-Selim Abdulkadyrov, a resident of the Shali District, and the woman-militant were blocked in one of private houses. The woman opened fire on participants of the operation from a sub-machine gun; she was wounded and detained; at her detention a militiaman was wounded, as reported by the "Interfax".

According to local law enforcement bodies, several days ago two militants were sent to Grozny - a man and a woman - assigned with a mission to kill Kadyrov.
