Zakareishvili: negotiations of Georgian opposition with Parliament Speaker are senseless
Georgian political scientist Paata Zakareishvili believes that negotiations of the leaders of the opposition with David Bakradze, Speaker of the Parliament, are senseless, as in Georgia nothing depends on this person.
"Not Bakradze, but the opposition offered negotiations to the authorities. The proposal of a dialogue, put forward by the opposition, was welcomed by the authorities who nominated Speaker of Parliament Bakradze, who actually is no decision-maker," Mr Zakareishvili said to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
According to the political scientist, in Georgia decisions are made by 3 persons: President Mikhail Saakashvili, Minister of Internal Affairs Vano Merabishvili and Minister of Justice Zurab Adeishvili; while all other officials must coordinate all their actions with these three persons.
Another Georgian political scientist Ramaz Sakvarelidze said, in his comments on the information that David Bakradze, not the President, will be in charge of negotiations, that the talks will not be easy.
